You can make the most of organic materials such as grass by drying them and processing them into nutritious feed grains. Many companies make use of drying plants. For a developer of this type of drying equipment, Consmema produced a conveyor belt/feeder.

In the drying process, the base product (grass) will be transported into the feeder first. The grass drying plant then provides the right structure and texture, dries and compresses the grass and produces pellets for the animal feed industry. We developed the conveyor belt entirely in-house, including its mechanical assembly.
Before delivery we tested the belt and its running extensively. The installation (on its legs) is 12m long, almost 4m wide and more than 8m high. It weighs about 17.5t.
